What to Make of Tab Trade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker — What It Is

Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection is relevant. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker this new, the breadth is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after comparing.

FIX API is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That will be a good addition when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

This is the area where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.

Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

Regulation

This is the detail that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense is your call.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
